Time, nature and weather can wreak havoc on almost all concrete structures causing cracks, deterioration, and structural issues. In addition to the woes of Mother Nature, heavy traffic on bridges, tunnels and parking structures can lead to expansion joint problems as well as the cracking and crumbling of concrete. Similar issues can arise from foot traffic in stadiums and plaza decks, jeopardizing structural and personal safety as well as negatively impacting revenue.
CMR utilizes several methods of concrete repair and restoration to return structural integrity and safety to concrete structures. Post-tension, cast-in-place, and pre-cast structural repairs are commonly conducted on overhead, vertical, and horizontal damaged concrete sites. These methods can be used across a wide range of industries, including commercial buildings, bridges, tunnels, plaza decks, stadiums, parking structures, water treatment plants, and more.
With a broad spectrum of products and methods available, finding the right solution can sometimes feel overwhelming. In addition to being highly experienced in concrete repair and restoration, the dedicated team members at CMR are very knowledgeable about the products and materials, ready to walk you through the process and find the best solution for your unique needs. Our experienced staff will work with you to assess the issue, determine the cause and devise an effective plan for a long-lasting solution. Whether your concrete structure requires repair or restoration, CMR has the manpower, knowledge, and experience to get the job done on time and within budget.
In 2012 the City of Milwaukee enlisted CMR to repair a heavily trafficked downtown parking structure. The parking facility was in poor structural condition after numerous previous attempts at repairs and also in need of a waterproofing system. Wisconsin weather and years of wear had led to significant corrosion damage to the reinforcing steel, causing the concrete to spall and crack. After a thorough assessment of the various damages, cracks and repair issues, CMR worked with the City of Milwaukee to develop a comprehensive concrete repair and restoration solution to address their unique needs, including a modified traffic bearing system that was developed specifically for this project.
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with CMR for many years. They are a contractor I can count on to get the job done on time and have it done right the first time. I know if I use CMR on a job, I’m going to have a satisfied customer.”
